Trevor House is a Cycle Friendly B & B in a convenient town centre location in the historic market town of Knaresborough. We are situated 7.5 miles south of the Sustrans "Way of the Roses" and are on the route of the second stage of the 2014 Tour de France. We offer one large double room with en-suite shower room and tea/coffee making facilities, plus Freeview TV and Wi-fi. Choice of continental or full English breakfast. It is convenient for the A1 Junction 47 as well as York, Harrogate and Leeds. Leeds Bradford Airport is 16 miles away. Bicycle storage available in a locked outbuilding. The hosts are keen cyclists and can suggest routes and local cycle shops etc.

The cottages are fully carpeted with double-glazing for your comfort. All linen, bedding, tea towels and personal towels are provided. The kitchen in each cottage is fully fitted and extremely well equipped with built in cooker and hob, microwave oven, fridge, electric kettle and toaster. There is a colour television, Freeview digital TV, radio, CD player and electric coal-effect fire in all the cottages and they all have their own patio and picnic table. All four cottages - May Cottage, Swallows Folly Bartletts Barn and Over Across - have central heating and the prices on our tariffs page are fully inclusive so that you can enjoy the warmth of our cottages throughout the year - though we are sure you will consider the environment when you are staying in this beautiful part of the country!

We can provide storage for bicycles, have cleaning and drying facilities for cycling and walking equipment, and can provide packed lunches by prior arrangement (additional cost). We have a large guest car park at the rear of the cottage, with ample, secure parking for all our guests. As active and enthusiastic walkers and cyclists ourselves, and with a real passion for the area we live in (Pickering and surrounding North York Moors National Park), we would be delighted to help you with any information you may need in regard to areas and routes for walking or cycling, places of historic interest to visit, and towns and cities in the region which are of interest for shopping and visitor attractions.
