The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and enjoys an uninterrupted view out of the large floor to ceiling sliding doors. There are three double bedrooms in the lodge; two of which can be made up into twins or singles as preferred. The master bedroom features an en suite with shower, with the other bedrooms sharing the family bathroom.

Outside the large terrace has an elevated view of the fishing lake, home to swans, herons, oyster catchers and many other types of birds and wildlife. You might get lucky and spot the resident Kingfisher too. It’s a lovely peaceful spot, just the ticket if you want to just sit and watch the world go by. And of course not forgetting the wood-fired Siberian Larch Hot-tub. The perfect place to wind down after a day's walking or site seeing in the Dales. This luxury lodge is located just outside the charming market town of Richmond. Richmond boasts an 11th Century castle, fine Georgian architecture and a large cobbled market square as some of its many attractions. The town is a pleasant walk if you fancy striking out on foot for a cup of Yorkshire tea at one of the many tea rooms there.

Bordering Swaledale and Wensleydale, Richmond is also known as ‘The Gateway to the Dales’ so you can expect stunning Dales scenery just a short drive away. Peppering this glorious countryside are countless attractive little towns and villages.

The historic village of Easby, home to Easby Abbey, lies a mile west of the lodge. Set on the river Swale, the Abbey is a lovely walk from the lodge and is the perfect spot for a picnic. This is a superb area for walkers and cyclists with many routes from the lodge or just a short distance away. The famous coast to coast walking route passes within a few hundred metres of the lodge.
