The Blue Bell Inn Kettlewell

Tia a Labrador stopped at the Black Bull Inn for a lunch break while travelling to the North Yorkshire Moors in September 2011 with her mistress and one of the directors. Outside signage makes it clear that dogs on leads are welcome in the pub and this is re-enforced by a dog water bowl in the bar area. There is also seating in the garden where dogs are welcome and a children’s play area (where dogs are not allowed). The bar menu offered a choice of reasonably priced meals and snacks. We enjoyed a Bacon and Brie baguette of good portion size plus soft drinks and coffee. The bar offered a range of draught drinks including Blacksheep, Golden Pippin from Skipton Brewery and Strongbow cider. Service was prompt and friendly. Our visit was fairly short but we would have been happy to stay here longer if time had allowed. If you are looking for accommodation the pub also has 5 en-suite ground floor guest rooms available which are dog friendly.
