East Steading is an exceptional 2-bedroom luxury holiday cottage which enjoys stunning views of the North York Moors from every room. With its beautiful interiors, idyllic location and a village pub just across the road, it’s easy to see why staying in this award winning cottage is a pure delight.
East Steading has been crafted from an old farm building and lovingly transformed into a 21st Century luxury retreat. Inside and out you’ll find the character of the old building has been maintained, from the original stable doors to the huge oak beams and honey coloured exposed stone walls. And with every modern convenience you could wish for, including underfloor heating throughout, you really have the best of both worlds here.
Let’s start with the beautiful kitchen. Fully stocked to 5 Star standards you’ll find everything you need including children’s crockery and cutlery if required. You’ll also arrive to a sumptuous hamper filled with lots of little extras including bacon, eggs, fresh bread and a bottle of wine.
Moving on to the dramatic and elegant sitting room with its double height ceilings and cosy wood-burner. What better way to finish a busy day’s sight-seeing than curling up on the armchair here with a nice glass of red. You’ll also find a large LCD TV with Satellite Channels and Wi-Fi available.
There are two generous bedrooms in this luxury North York Moors Cottage, a king-size and a double. Both bedrooms in East Steading boast LCD TVs, crisp white bed linen and cosy faux-fur bed throws. They’re also en suite, the first with a bath tub to sink into and the second a walk-in shower.
Immediately to the front of this luxury Yorkshire Cottage is an enclosed South-facing garden which includes a lawned area and gravel patio. Garden furniture is provided so you can enjoy lunch al fresco in the warmer months. The views from this garden are truly spectacular, and as this is a tiny little hamlet the only noise out here is the sound of birdsong in the air…
